Virtual Keyforge Tournament

Event Title:
Virtual Sealed Dark Tidings KeyForge Tournament

Event Description:
Please note, as we are using Dark Tidings decks, we have had to make a compromise on deck accuracy due to practical limitations (further information is provided on that subject later on). Also, if you are playing in this tournament, while you do not have to be in the UK to do so, you will need to be able to provie a UK address to send your decks and prizes to, as The Ludoquist cannot send packages internationally.

While The Ludoquist is not able to run tournaments in person during the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, we are running virtual sealed tournaments instead, using real life decks played online via The Crucible Online.

For £9.99, you will get a real life Dark Tidings deck and entry into an online Virtual Sealed Mass Mutation tournament played on The Crucible Online (TCO) ( - a free website for KeyForge playing, using Challonge ( - a free tournament organising tool, using Discord ( - a free voice and chat tool, and a guaranteed prize for 1st place, regardless of the number of players taking part.

At the end of each month, all the decks you have purchased for the tournaments held that month and any prizes you have won, will be posted to your UK address for free.

The tournaments are held every Tuesday at 7:30pm for a 7:45pm start (slightly later than they would be if we were playing at The Ludoquist and even more frequently - every Tuesday instead of just 2nd and 4th Tuesdays).

In order to take part, please make sure you buy your ticket by 6pm (at the latest) on or before the relevant Tuesday from The Ludoquist website ( from this link:

You will be sent your deck's QR code just before the start of the tournament (at about 7pm), which you will need to register in the KeyForge Master Vault and then TCO. As we are using Dark Tidings, when you import your deck you will need to assign any enhancements on to the relevant cards. Due to it being impractical to photo all enhanced cards, players will be allowed to assign their enhancements where they want (decks can be deleted and re-imported in to TCO with the correct enhancement placements at a later date).

If you have any problems using any of the online tools involved in the tournament, feel free to get in touch with me and I will help you with whatever you're struggling with. The sooner we go through them, the easier it will be on the night of the tournament.

This is a difficult time for a lot of people and The Ludoquist want to do what they can to help people live life as close to normal as possible. Plus, if we want The Ludoquist to still be there whenever everything returns to normal, we need to do what we can to support them.

Thank you.

Prize Structure:

If there are 4+ players, there will a KeyForge deck to be won.

If there are 8+ players, a Gamegenic Aries deck box will be added to the prize pool.

Prizes will be awarded from 1st to 3rd (according to the numbers of players) with 1st place having first pick of the prizes, followed by 2nd place, with 3rd place getting what is left.
