Each playmat replaces one of the cardboad boards in the base game and is sold separately so you can buy exactly as many as you need (i.e., if you usually play Wyrmspan with 1 other person, you could buy 2; Wyrmspan plays up to 5 players, so 5 copies would allow for a full game with rubber playmats).
